Can i get veneers on the NHS or are there affordable payment plans?
Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011Hi I’m 16 I was just wondering if I could get veneers on the nhs with my current dentist, as I have two small lateral incisors and it really lowers my self confidence at school, I feel like I can’t smile with my teeth showing it really gets me down. I would appreciate it if you could tell me what I could do as my current dentist seems to avoid the topic whenever I ask him. If there are affordable payment plans then I wouldn’t mind.

Can you correct an open bite for me?
Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011Hi there,
I am a Canadian living in London. I have an open bite that requires surgery and crowding. I’ve also been told that I will require jaw widening. Is it possible to have work done in London? What is the time frame for this proceedure? What are the costs of orthodontal work in the UK (approximately).
Thanks!
Shall I replace my amalgam fillings with white composite fillings?
Tuesday, March 22nd, 2011Dear Dr Verma,
I recently visited a new dentist. I had many amalgam fillings as a child (more than 18 years ago), and have had no recent problems with them. My new dentist has suggested I replace them all over time with white fillings.
I understand that the old filling my “leak” after time, but my xrays apparently show no evidence of decay and I don’t suffer with toothache. I’m not bothered about the cosmetic side of things- so long as the filling is doing its job, I’m happy.
Would you advise replacing the fillings?
Thank you for your time.
