What is the difference between simpli5 and 6 month smile?

Q.
hi,
i want to know that is ” simpli5″ and “6 month smile” is the same thing.
Do you perform “simpli5” treatment?
Is it without wire?
Thanks,
A.
Dear Enquirer,
They are two different systems to straighten the front teeth only. The ‘Six Month Smile’ is a fixed brace with a wire (although it’s a cosmetic wire) which fits on the front teeth. The ‘Simpli5’ uses a different mechanism to move the front teeth and that is a series of 5 aligners which are removable and there is no wire. Only very small movements are possible with Simpli5 so it is useful for very minor changes required on the front teeth.
We carry out both the above treatments and many others at Sparkle Dental Boutique, so if you are able to come and see us, we would be very happy to give you some options. The practice number is 0208 567 4344
