Hi. So I’m 15 years old and I have an underbite. I went through retainers ever since 8 but when I started losing teeth it became useless. All my docs and orthos told me to get surgery when I’m 16. Although I just came back from an ortho and he told me I should wait till I’m 21 to get the surgery because my jaw can still grow. I want to do it now but my ortho said if I do it now it’s possible it will grow back. So should I wait or should do it now?

A year following crowning of a molar with a gold crown my tooth cracked down to the root causing the crown to dislodge and leading to a very bad abscess which had to be drained and the tooth subsequently removed . I was really quite ill over this time. Today I took the offending crown to a place that purchases gold and on thorough testing they found no gold but only base metal. This was a crown from an N.H.S dentist and sold to me as gold. Would it be a reason why I became so unwell and is this common practice to describe a gold crown as such when it is not? I have since had another crown ( porcelain) which has a black mark centraly is this something I should have cause to complain about? Thank yo in advance for your answer

I am hoping this is going to make sense, i believe i have an overbite as i can’t get my teeth to close and have difficulties when biting a sandwich and stuff like that. i also feel that my front teeth are pushed way to forward which gives me a horrible smile. whats the best way to get my teeth pushed back, straightened and have a nice smile?! i’m hoping you can help me come to some decision as to what i should do as this is making me very unhappy.
