Would the Inman aligner or a six-month smile treatment be suitable for my teeth?

Monday, October 4th, 2010
Q.
Hi, My two upper front teeth point out and are starting to overlap and the teeth next to them are tucked behind them. Do you think 6 month smiles or The Inman aligner would work for me? I have looked at lots of before and after photo’s and most of the examples aren’t as bad as my teeth! The nearest dentists that offer these treatments are a long drive away and charge huge consultation fees so I would like to have an idea of whether these treatments are viable before i take the plunge! Thank you,

I don’t think my Six Month Smile brace treatment is working. What would you suggest?

Monday, September 27th, 2010
Q.
Dear Rob. I had six month smile brace fitted 18 months ago for mild crowding on the front six. The brace has been institu for 18mths and has left gaps in the front that are refusing to close, also one slightly overlapping tooth wouldn’t move. Another problem is i feel it’s pushing my front teeth out as it’s now longer then the others. I keep saying this to my cosmetic Dentist and she says it shouldn’t be much longer, however I honestly think it could possibly take another 18mths. What would you suggest, can the top front tooth be pushed up with another brace?,

I cannot get braces on the NHS anymore, but I’ve been looking at six month smiles. Is this my best option?

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010
Q.
Hi there, i am a 17 year old looking into getting my teeth straightened something that should have been done when i was about 14 but i was never taken back to a dentist then. I recently went back and registered at a dentist where i was told my teeth were very healthy but I cannot get braces on the NHS anymore. Could the reason be because it’s purely cosmetic? I am looking into six month smiles and i have recently been told i have TMJ i am wondering if undergoing this treat ment will agrivate it? Thirdly (sorry) i have naturally discoloured teeth would a whitening help this or would something like veneers be my only option? Thanks :),

Are there any options to sort my teeth before I get married in May?

Monday, August 23rd, 2010
Q.
I am getting married in May next year. I was in the process of getting 6 month smiles. After the impressions were taken I was told the upper part of my mouth has overcrowding of 13mm and the lower 9mm. I was told it may not be possible to have make the space needed and have the results wanted in time for the wedding. I’m wondering if there are any other options to at least improve my smile. Veneers, filling material etc. The wedding is booked and I really dont want my photos ruined by my teeth or me not smiling. Thanks.,
