Can I still have braces although my wisdom teeth are missing?

Q.
Hi there

I had braces years ago from the ages of 12 to 15.

Im now 34, i have 2 molars missing, one on each side on the upper jaw. I really would like to have braces again as my teeth are spacing out terribly again & my bite isnt straight.

Will i be able to have braces even though those 2 molars are missing?

Thank you so much in advance.

( please forgive me writing this part but it wont let me submit the question as there are too few words, but i dont really know what else to say or how better to explain what i need done. Hence these are extra words so that i may submit my question to you.)

It could well be possible to have further orthodontic treatment, even with your 2 molars missing. If there are the remaining molars then this should not be a problem.

You should go and seek professional advice in person with a thorough examination and consultation first , so that this can be confirmed and all your options explained.

A specialist orthodontist or dentist very experienced in orthodontic treatment would be the ideal person to book a consultation with.

Kind regards
