Q. About 5 years ago, an NHS dentist placed composite bonding material on my 2 front teeth. Before this, it had only been placed on the reverse of these teeth due to a small amount of thinning enamel. Because I was only 16, I didn’t really know what she was doing and did not have the courage to ask why it was being done. They looked so bad that I visited a private dentist who said he could redo them. Within a couple of months they looked just as bad; wearing away at the edges, turning yellow. I brush, floss and mouthwash everyday. Is it possible to just have the composite bonding material removed and go back to my natural teeth? I don’t really know why it was put on the front surface in the first place, as my teeth are straight and, before this, white. Thank you.,
