Can I get Lumineers or Veneers on the NHS?

Q.
is there anywhere i could get lumineers/veneers done on the NHS by paying for them(would this be a cheaper option than going totally private?) and how much do they cost?and whats the difference between all the different sorts/makes of lumineers/veneers?
A.
Cosmetic dental treatment is not available on the NHS as it is often elective and not health-based. Lumineers cost from £400-500 for each tooth. They are often only suitable for a small number of specific cases, and they are usually do not give the very best cosmetic result. The quality of the treatment you will receive and consequently the costs are dependent on the following:
1. The experience and skill level of the cosmetic dentist.
2. The quality of the result you are trying to achieve.
3. The quality of the laboratory work (dental veneers are made by hand by dental technicians. Master craftsmen technicians will charge more for their work).
4. The material used to make the veneers (for example, e-max porcelain is one of very high quality and strength).
You should go for a consultation with an experienced cosmetic dentist to go over all your option and to discuss your requirements.
