My Veneer Has Fallen Off On The First Day. I’m At A Loss. Could You Help Me?

Q.
Hiya,
I’ve only had veneers for one day and already one has fell out. I rang my dentist and was instructed to put it back on with clear nail polish.
Although I have done this I am still very worried it will fall off. I am not eating hardly anything due to this. I am very worried the other veneers will fall off soon as I feel the glue is disappearing. I am not sure if this me just thinking this up in my head or it is actually happening.
Is there anything I can do to make me feel more secure with my veneers? What foods do you recommend I should eat, as I am at a loss? Please could you help. Thanks.

Go back and see the dentist who bonded then in as soon as you can so the adhesion of the veneers can be assessed. Something has likely gone wrong during the bonding process but this could be just on one tooth? Another reason could be that the new veneers are too large or long and during eating or everyday function they are being knocked out by your bottom set of teeth?

In my own practice if a problem like this occurs we would invite our patient in to be seen that very same day. Regards, Mark.
