I have had new veneers fitted after having veneers for 12 years with no problems. However after 2 months, one of my new veneers has fallen off. I went to my dentist and he put the tooth on again but did advise me it might come off again, and if so the veneer would have to be sent to the lab to be re-etched. The tooth came off the following day and I went back to have it sent to the lab for re-etching. However, I was advised I needed to pay to have the tooth put back on. Do I need to pay again to have it re-fitted?

Will I Have to Pay to Have My Veneer Re-Fitted?
Wednesday, March 11th, 2015My Veneer Has Fallen Off On The First Day. I’m At A Loss. Could You Help Me?
Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 Hiya,
I’ve only had veneers for one day and already one has fell out. I rang my dentist and was instructed to put it back on with clear nail polish.
Although I have done this I am still very worried it will fall off. I am not eating hardly anything due to this. I am very worried the other veneers will fall off soon as I feel the glue is disappearing. I am not sure if this me just thinking this up in my head or it is actually happening.
Is there anything I can do to make me feel more secure with my veneers? What foods do you recommend I should eat, as I am at a loss? Please could you help. Thanks.
I Am Happy With My Veneers And Now One Has Fallen Off. What Are My Options?
Wednesday, August 28th, 2013Hello. I need to tell you that the second veneer on one of my front teeth has fallen off! My dentist has said that there is not enough tooth left to resurface and has recommended that I have my front teeth crowned. He has now given me a quote of about £500 per tooth. I am not able to afford this at the moment and wondered if there was another solution. As at the moment one of my front teeth is not looking very attractive. I have had veneers on my front teeth for quite a long time and the other tooth still has the original veneer. I have never really been happy with the shape of the veneers as they have made my teeth look too wide and uneven. Look forward to hearing your advice. Thank you
very much Dr Patel.
My veneer needs replacing but I am not happy with the colour my new dentist has provided, what can I do?
Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 Hi,
I recently cracked a veneer on a front incisor and went to my dentist for a replacement.
I have moved house since the original veneer was fitted and can no longer go to the same dentist.
My new dentist took impressions, colour matches etc and gave me a temporary veneer. I paid for half the cost after the first appointment.
Today I went back to have the proper veneer fitted and it was far too white/cream in colour. The dentist seemed a bit at a loss and said he would have to ask them to re-do it. When placed next to my other tooth, the veneer also looked far too thick and opaque – nothing like the veneer that I had lost. My original veneer was exactly the right colour and much more translucent.
I am now worried that the next effort won’t be good enough! The dentist said the lab may be able to colour the veneer or they may have to make another. I’ve lost a bit of confidence and I would like to know what my options are.
With thanks
Will using a home whitening kit when wearing veneers loosen them?
Wednesday, November 30th, 2011Dear Mr Patel, I have six porcelein veneers fitted four on top centre and two lower centre. When whitening with home kit could this potentially loosen my porcelein veneers. The reason I ask it may be purely co-incidental but recently I have had two of them fall out within a month of each other they were fitted in 2000. I am considering having crowns fitted the next time one of my veneers breaks or falls out would it be a more benefical way in the long term I was advised if I keep getting my veneers replaced my original tooth with shorten and I may eventually end up with not having enough tooth for the veneer to stick onto. I would very much appreciate your thoughts on both my concerns. Kindest regards,
Should I have to pay for my new veneers to be glued back on again?
Tuesday, August 30th, 2011Hi,In July, this year i decide to have two new veneers because one of my original kept coming of, i was told the cost would be £600 and because i am sixty that is a lot of money to me but i thought i would have it done to solve the problem it was done on the national health, after 3 weeks one came off, and i had to go and get it fixed which they did`nt charge me because it was only 3 weeks since i had it done, again today the same veneer came of again and i had to go and get it put back on they wanted to charge me £17 pounds but i refused to pay , when you pay all that money you would`nt expect this to keep happening, can you tell me if there is a reason why this is happening, i don`t bite in anything i have done everything they have said, and i am worried now that if i go on holiday this might happen again.
