My dentist has quoted me £8,500 for my treatment, can this be right?

i have had front teeth crowns for 22yrs. now my gum has got gum disease my dentist says; my crown are loose and my teeth up and down are very sensitive; my dentist says i need 3implants to replace my crowns they will salvage my teeth and gums; the cost is £8,500-00 and that is the price and i do not have any other choice! i am shocked but unsure about the next move! please advice me! thank you!

It sounds like the right treatment but if you’re unsure then maybe you should seek a 2nd opinion in case there is an alternative
