I’ve Quit Smoking And I’m On A Healthy Diet. Is There Anything On The NHS That Can Fix My Discoloured Teeth?

Q.
Hello Mark. I have fillings in the front of my teeth and my teeth are very discoloured from the dye and I’m not very confident. Is there anything on the NHS that can help me? My confidence is so bad that when it comes to job interviews I back out. Also talking to anyone I avoid it completely it’s really getting me down. I’ve quit smoking and on a healthy diet. I’ve looked online about teeth whitening but they don’t and won’t work on teeth that have holes, fillings or cavities. I really hope you can advise me on this. Thank you.

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. If you are looking for elective treatment to treat an aesthetic problem then this treatment is not available on the NHS as it is a Health Service not to provide cosmetic treatment. You should consult with a good cosmetic dentist in your area to discuss all your options. You may be able to find a long term payment plan to suit your needs. Kind regards, Mark.
