Q. Hi I have been told by the dentist that i have gum disease and my front teeth are a bit loose. I am only 19 and got gum disease after having a baby so the thought of losing my teeth is terrifing and i don’t know what i’d do if they fell out. Is there anything at all i can do now to stop my teeth from falling out in the future? Also if worse comes to worse and they do fall out what are my options? Thanks
A. You need to see your dentsit and hygienist regularly as well as excellent home care. You could consider seeing an expert in gum treatment (periodontist) as well.
if the teeth do come out you could consider fixed teeth in the form of implants or bridges or removable teeth- dentures Good luck regards Andrew
