Hi Dr Gambroudes, I am a 29 year old male and I have a gap between my front upper teeth, which is about 3-4 mm wide. I don’t want to have to wear braces, so is there a quick, efficient solution to fill the gap that doesn’t involve orthodontics? I’d really appreciate your help with this matter. Please inform me of the best solution for my situation, I’m really hoping there’s an effective alternative to braces. Hi, thank you for sending your question in. Bonding or porcelain veneers may be an option, but if the gap is very large, these can make the teeth look too wide if they close the space completely. Sometimes, just simply halving the size of the gap, or making it almost fully closed can actually look better than having very wide teeth. Hope this is helpful. Regards, Marcus.
