Im not happy with pallet inserted on the tooth can u advice?

Q. I had my front tooth removed due to root being cracked I have had tooth on pallet inserted. My dentist was very busy and I did not ask enough questions, it came as bit of shock as the pallet feels like a plastic bowl in my mouth. I cannot talk properly at all and I rang dentist but closed as this procedure took place at 5pm today. I think My dentist told me I have to take pallet out every night but am not sure as fell quite upset and could you please give me your advice regarding the above – I may consider implant if I cannot get used to this. Your help would be so appreciated as my health is poor as it is having suffered fractured sacrum, sorry to go on but I feel a bit lost. Yours sincerely kind regards

A. It is always difficult going from a natural tooth to a denture you need to wear that denture as much as possible to begin with so you get used to it and so the gums shape around it.  You can have an imp;ant or bridge to fill the gap an implant being the better treatment.  Please email me again if you still have concerns.
