Q. HI,I hope you can help me im so worried.I have fibromialgia syndrome and all the other problems that go along with it .I have been to my dentist and told your teth are loose and falling out this I already new. And you won,t be able to have dentures because the jaw bone has disintegrated and needed building up ,not very helpful at all.they dont hold out much of a chance for me but said they would send a letter to birmingham dental hospital .I have got an appointment but Im so scared they wont be able to help as Iam on benefit so any treatment would have to be done on nhs.I have enough to put up with this illness let alone no teeth what can you advise.and do you think I get anything done.thanx

I am positive you will get help at Birmingham Dental Hospital. Try not to worry and express your concerns when you see the dentist at the hospital.

thanks for your reply.I have been to the hospital and yes the lady said she should be able to help but only with dentures.this is where the fear comes in I have try 3 teeth on a plate some time ago from the moment they were put in I was sick when I took them out I couldn t get them back in so dentist had to ajust them for every time I took them out the dentist had to chang the shape of the plate untill in the end I just was so sick the teeth had to stay out when I mentioned a set of teeth with out a plate but skrewed in she said they couldnt do this .also she did say she didnt think I would be able to keep a plate in because of the bone being so small now what could my next option be and where could I go if this step she is going down doesnt work either jan
