Dental implants on denture in Cyprus or Saudi Arabia

Q. I have worn a top denture for over 30 years and have only 7 front bottom teeth and one back one, so my bite is not very good, I would like to have implants to the top or if I am not suitable maybe a implant supported denture, my problem is where to go to get them done as I live in Saudi Arabia but also have a home in Cyprus, could you recommend the best place for cost and timescales. regards P

A. Hi P,

I am afraid i know very little about that side of the world with regards to dentists out there who practice implants. The first place to start is the web, doing a solid amount of web research in the areas where you live will help you get idea of those dentists practicing implants. The following things to look out for are accreditations to known dental organisations and those that you feel comfortable with.

Treatment in the UK for dental implants cost approximately £2000 per implant and takes about 9- 12 months to have the implant fully functioning should there not be any complications.

I hope this helps

Good afternoon everyone,

I’m French student who study the dental industry of Saudi Arabia. I’ve several questions. Could you please help me finding the answers? It is very important and I greet you with all the respect.
My questions concerning the dental industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are hereunder:

1/ How many dentists and implantologists are there in Saudi Arabia?
2/ Is there any insurance for dental care? If yes, could you explain how it works?
3/ How much can cost a crown and an implant in Saudi Arabia?
4/ There are a few Europeans who practise in the Kingdom. Could you explain me that flow pls?

Hope someone would hear me and then would help me ;-). I will end saying THANK YOU VER MUCH.

BYE,

Jacky
