My new denture is uncomfortable can I have one that is like my old one

Dear Komal, I have just finished a series of dental treatments to replace a broken partial denture. My dentist recommended a metal frame denture.I found it so uncomfortable that i stopped wearing it and reverted to wearing my old broken one. I asked the dentist if I could just have a denture as identical to my old one as possible. It looked similar when it arrived but was also totally unwearable. The dentist assured me the bite was perfect, but i can’t wear either of them. The main difference i can see between my original denture and the new one is that the material used is so much thicker. my old denture was so comfortable i hardly knew it was there. So i have paid for two new dentures and can\’t wear either of them.Is it possible to have a denture made that is identical to my old one?

I had a filling in my left front tooth and I am worried it will fall out

I am concerned about my left front tooth. A few years ago i had a filling in it, and then i moved dentists and since then the filling has come out. The hole is small in the front of my tooth but i am scared of dentists because last time i went they had to pull out a tooth, i am also concerned about losing my tooth. The hole has not appeared to have got amazingly bigger as you can only see it if you look close enough. If a front tooth did fall out what could i have done to replace it? Please advise me on what to do as I am losing a lot of sleep at night worrying about it.

What is the cost of a denture for three teeth and a bridge

I have just had my three front teeth taken out and dentures fitted i had to have one taken out as it was a crown and that was coming out so i asked my dentist to take the other two out as i had never had straight teeth or two front ones since i was sixteen, i would like a bridge once my gums have settled down could u tell me the cost of this.

I have worn a denture for 30 years and need bone grafting

I have worn a top denture for over 30 years, recently I having implants or a implant supported denture, I went for an x ray and was told because of the loss of bone I would need to have a bone graft this sounds like a long process and I would not be able to wear my denture for about one month, so it looks like I am going to be stuck with dentures and fixative, the dentist told me that even this wont be an option in about five years because there will be no bone or suction left for dentures to remain stable is there any solution you could advise me of?

I am loosing all my teeth through gum disease what is the best denture

Good morning Dr. Through gum disease I am losing all my teeth. I have lost my back teeth on both sides and have purchased a part denture to help the situation. I am struggling with the denture. My private dentist advices that I can have a permanent full denture put in which will be held up by 2 retainer studs which are fitted into the back gum on each side of my mouth. He says he wants £15000 for this which is a great deal of money. Is this the set price that every one charges? Also can you please tell me what is the best flexible and thinnest denture material available as the plate of the one I have been given is so thick, rigid and uncomfortable to wear. Many thanks

I have had all my top teeth out and only have 6 bottom teeth left

Dear DR Suri my life has been hell for the last 5 years when I had to have all my top teeth out i only have 6 bottom teeth i find it terribly hard to wear a top denture it is very ill fitting and it only stays in with loads of fixture i have had two other sets made which were a complete waste of time neither of them fitted me i was sent to london hospital for help but all they did was make me the most hideous set of teeth i have ever seen i am 54 years old but feel 80 because of how this has ruined my life I would just like to know if there is any chance of me being able to have implants They did tell me about a year ago that i didnt have enough bone also i cant bear the bottom denture in my mouth and my greatest fear is losing the only remaining 6 teeth that i have thankyou for your advise
