Q. Can I get veneers free on the NHS? One of my front teeth is discoloured and my dentist has said that it is partially dead – therefore I may need root canal treatment before I have veneers fitted. I am a full time student, so would the NHS pay for all/some of the treatment and how do I apply??
A. Veneers provided for this situation would be covered by the NHS but speak to your dentist first. You may actually need a full crown rather than a veneer as one the tooth has been root canalled it is much weaker.

Hi there,
I got mh HC2 form back the other day and have been given total free dental, im a full time student. I need a crown on one of my front teeth and i wouldnt want this looking stupid so would i be able to have my other one crowned so they look the same.
Would my dentist have to agree to this if i asked?
