Would lingual braces rub against my bottom front teeth, because i have an overbite?

hi, i am thinking about looking into getting lingual braces, i have done a bit of research on-line but still have a question i would like an answer too…… i have a overbite and was wondering if i the lingual braces on my top teeth would rub agains the front of my bottom teeth when my mouth is closed?? thanks

You are quite correct this happens. In this situation the teeth are propped open with removable tags on the bite surface of a few teeth so you do not bite onto the braces.
This sounds very uncomfortable but pts adapt very easily.
