would it be suitable for me to have bridges instead of dentures for my missing tooth

Q. I have recently had an allergic reaction to antibiotics which affected my whole mouth gums and lips. Due to this my front tooth has become loose and has dropped. My dentist wants to remove it. Would it be suitable for bridging as i do not want to wear dentures i am in my 40s Thanks

A. If it is only 1 tooth missing, then I would recommend a dental implant retrained crown as the most long term option. you can ask your entist to discuss this in more detail with you. Expect to pay around £2500 for a single tooth implant.
Bridging the tooth is also an option, as long as you are aware that the healthy, adjacent teeth will need to be compromised in order to do this. Thanks for your enquiry
