Would I still be able to get braces even though most of my teeth are decayed?

Q. I have always wanted a brace since I was a child, but was too shy to wear it, now am 32 years old and decided to wear it but most of my tooth is decayed, do you think I should go ahead with the plan or just competely forget it.,
A. Your dentist will not start any orthodontic treatment until your teeth are fixed and all decay is removed. This is standard planning before any braces are fitted onto your teeth.I Would advise a consultation with a specialist orthodontist.
