Q. Dear Andrew: I am a USA trained Periodontist ( gum specialist) with offices in New York City and New Jersey . I have been lecturing and performing Laser Periodontal Surgery for a number of years. One of the laser procedures is called LANAP ( Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure). I have lectured extensively around the USA with supporting documentation ( Photos, radiographs). This Laser protocol also involves regeneration of bone and connective tissue. There also enormous cosmetic and positive restorative implications as well. Patients can remain on blood thinners, and other medications for this treatment which we do in 1 visit. I could go on and on about this ” game changer” in my field of Periodontics.
