Will teeth whitening cause damage to my teeth in the future?

Q.
Hello,
I’m 16 years old and am considering paying to have my teeth whitened (mainly for cosmetic reasons, but also because I think my teeth are more yellow than most peoples, and some of my teeth vary in colour compared to the other ones and I would like to even this out), however I’m worry that starting to whiten my teeth at this age could be damaging in the long term. Will having them professionally whiten them have negative effects in the future or will they just … age as normal? :p
Thanks
A.
Dear Enquirer,
It is perfectly safe to have your teeth professionally whitened. There will be no negative effects if you have the process done by a dentist as we are trained to use only safe and effective tooth whitening methods.

hi Aiden this varies on your tooth development / sensitivity. It is unusual under 18 years and should be carefully monitored if below this age.
