Will braces be obvious and will people laugh?

Q. i am having braces in a few weeks and had to have moulds done today csn you tell me the steps of having braces because im quite scared of having them because people might laugh at me. yours sencirley thanks kayleigh,
A. It depends on what type of braces you are having. If they are metal than they are glued onto your teeth it is a painless procedure, once this is done wires are attached and generally you are seen every 6-8 weeks.
