I train boxers as part of my profession. I am now 53 years old. I also spar with these young boxers that I train. I wear dentures, top and bottom, and even though I haven’t had any trouble with my dentures when sparring, I would like to know if there is a way to get a denture that has a soft lining for sparring…as opposed to the regular denture that I use for everyday use? I use a regular mouthpiece at the moment, but would like denture plates that I could use that have a soft lining to use along with my mouthpeice for sparring…
Yes one solution you could look at is to have a soft lining for your dentures. However you should know that these are as durable as regular dentures so I would as a result recommend this as a second set for your activity.
