Why did my sons root die?
Q. my 11 year old son needed his first small filling, after the filling he started to get absess and it was found that the root had died, why has this happened, could the dentist not cleaned the tooth out properly before putting in the filling? He now faces root canal surgery or abstraction,
A. A tooth can die if the filling is deep, if the tooth is a baby tooth then extraction will be best if not root canal treatment is recomended
