What would be the cost of crown replacement?

Q. Hi Dr. Moore. I have had a gold crown on one of my front tooth for 16 years. It was recommended by my dentist to cover a small black mark that was forming on the side of it. I wish to have it removed. Since it has been that long, can it be removed and replaced with a white procelain crown? About how much would that cost?

A. Yes it can normally be replaced with a porcealin crown. The cost for this at my clinic starts from £500.
