What treatment is there for protruding tooth?

Q. Hello Dr. Tennet!! I desperately need your help! My question concerns one of my upper canine teeth. This tooth didn’t come in until I was about 16 and slowly grew. I am nearly 19 now, and I think it has pretty much halted growth; however, it sits higher in my jaw when compared to all my other teeth, giving it a ‘shorter’ appearance. I definitely don’t want braces. Can you suggest something for me? Thank you so much in advance and I really look forward to hearing from you!!
A. Sorry I was unable to open the link, in cases where the toooth shape is not in harmony with the surrounding teeth we use the optionschange the tooth shape by bonding tooth coloured filling ( aesthetic bonding ), veneers or a crown.change the gum shape by plastic surgery tecniqueson very rare occasions remove the tooth and replace with a false one dental implants , bridges etcIf none of these appeals you are back to orthodontics, which might worth looking into clearstep or invisalign as they are not like most peoples idea of braces. If you would like a free intial consultation we can assess the most likely option in your case, and roughly estimate costs. ( StJohns Dental Practice, Birmingham, B2 5QJ)

Hallo Dr. Tennet,
I need your advice urgently. I have had placed succesfully two implants on molars 46 and 47 but meantime my upper tooth /crown/ slowly went down a little bit because I did not used the tooth too much.

Now I have to have crowns to be placed on my implants. What is the best way to solve the problem with my upper tooth? Is it any way it could be pushed back a liittle bit and then upper crown could be fixed easily /shorten a little bit /?

I heard that you could put temporary crowns on the implants , leave it there for while and regular biting will push the tooth a little bit back where it belongs? Is it true? What do you sugest? Thank you M.
