What treatment is suitable for a receding chin?

Q.
Hi
I am asking this on behalf of my 22 year old son , as we are unsure as to what kind of consultation or clinic is needed.
He wore braces for 2 years but was unhappy about the result after time he returned to the orthodontist and was told his teeth were in fact perfect, and that his concern about looking ‘goofy’ was that he had a short upper lip and possibly a slightly receded chin.
so he would now like to have somebody who can evaluate his face/teeth and make his smile better as he struggles to close his mouth naturally, and this is affecting his confidence massively, we do not no which area of help to look at is it dentistry/cosmetic surgery ideally he would just like a more natural look .

Hi

you may need a specialist orthodontist and a cosmetic dentist working in conjunction.

start with the orthodontist as if they cannot do anything the cosmetic dentist can then work to what they feel they can achieve without orthodontics
