What options are there to fix my broken front tooth?

Q.
I fell over a few months ago and broke off half of my front tooth..The next day I went to the dentist and I had a root canal done.
I went for a check up a few days ago only to be told that the tooth now has an infection which I am on antibiotics for.
The dentist explained that if my infection didn’t clear up that I would have to have an implant (which I wouldn’t be able to afford till the end of next year at the least) I wondered if I had any other options instead of an implant?
Also if the infection didn’t clear up would the dentist take my front tooth out completely until I could afford the implant if there were not any other options?
Thank you for reading my questions!

If the infection does not clear up you may not have any option but to have the tooth removed, however, you could see a Specialist Endodontist for a possible re-root treatment.

If you did get the tooth removed, you could opt to have a partial plate to replace that tooth until you could afford an implant.
