What options are there if unsure about getting dental crown?

Q. Hello There; I am 54 female and advised by my dentist to have Crown PORC/Lava Crown UPGRA placed on 7 & 10 teeth. Additional he advised to go ahead and add 8 & 9 to that because it will be easier to have them all addressed at the same time, for size, match, etc. I’m at a loss and worried it may make my smile worse with more problems. Any advise?,
A. It really depends on why you are having the treatment is it purely cosmetic? Or needed due to decay.  It also depends on what you dont like about your teeth and what you want to improve.  My advice would be to speak to your dentist and tell them your concerns and how you would like your teeth to look.  Also ask to see photos of other people your dentist has treated so you can assess the quality.

when i was 16 a trooth began to rot , apparently from the inside as the dentist could find no whole. It was so bad the dentist had to perform root canal. leaving me with a heavily filled tooth, to some reason beyond my knowledege this tooth broke of again twice since teh filling as was filled twice more even heavier. Their is basically no tooth left, it just looks like a massive black blob in my mouth. Although the tooth is nas the side of my mouth i am still extremly self conscious about it. I wonder if a crown could be placed on it, and if infact the dentist should have done it in the first place.
