what is the time for my adult teeth to erupt after losing baby teeth?

Q. Hi I’m 15 and still had two baby teeth (my canines). I got xrays and it revealed that my adult teeth were sort of coming in.. So my orthodontist recomended i get them pulled so i did. Its been about 1 month since i’ve gotten them pulled, i can see them through my gums and they hurt a bit when i touch that area. I was wondering how long they will take to erupt? or what is the average time for them to erupt after losing your baby teeth? Also i will be seeing my ortho in about 2 weeks. But i reeeaallly want to know if i could get braces with even my adult teeth missing? ( JUST THOSE TWO ) Thanks

A. It is difficult to ‘hurry’ these teeth up. They WILL come through in their own time. You just can’t hurry these things up!!! If your gums are sore in the area- this is a sign that they are trying to come through. So, grin and bear it- and good luck 🙂
