What is the cost of flexible dentures?

Q. Hi Justin, i saw a little remark on here about flexible dentures. I would like to know if its possible to have a complete set to and bootm made in this flexible denture material? i would like this done and could you tell me where this would be possible in birmingham? also a rough ides of cost for full set of flexible dentures. they sound terrific. thank you please please get back to me asap.,
A. Hello . Some of the new acrylic (plastic) denture materials have some flexibility in them and yes it is possible to have a full set. I’m sure you would be able to get this done in Birmingham but am not sure of any specific dentists there – it should take 4-5 visits. Costs depends on the teeth and materials being used, also the dentist’s expertise. Good luck!

I was given a flipper for an eye tooth on the bottom and told that it is a permanent denture. From reading about them online I have found that flippers are supposed to only be used temperarily. Is this true? If it is true what is another option for me. The flipper is very uncomfortable and and bulky. The wire clasps make it impossible for me to close my jaw completely. The metal clasps dig into my my upper teeth. It feels like my whole inlignment of my bottom and top are being thrown out of wack because of all the pressure. Is all of these things normal?
