What is the best tooth replacement long term option?

Q. Hi, I wonder if you could advise me please? I had a denture fitted 9yrs ago(upper front tooth) as I am absolutely terrified of the dentist and was offered this rather than root treatment. My dentist has now retired and I had an initial examination with a new dentist today. We discussed how unhappy I am with my discoloured teeth and as the dentist described: my patchwork fillings. He has recommended I opt for 4 crowns and a bridge to replace my denture. Or alternatively a dental implant and crowns. I am on quite a tight budget and want to get the best longterm value, however I would also like to be out of the dental chair asap as I am absolutely terrified! I would appreciate you opinion. Thanks,
A. The dental implant will probably cost more but might be your best long-term option. The time in the chair will be similar.

I’ve had a similar proposal put to me this morning. Basically, UL3&4 are missing (extracted) as are UR4&5. I’ve had 3 root canal treatments done on UR1&2 and UL1.

I’ve been offered 2 bridges to close the gaps and 4 ceramic crowns at a cost of £6500. Does this sound reasonable?
