Q. Hi Dr. Patel, My question is about the # 2 molar that has a crown and recently abcessed. I have been told that the infected tooth can not have root caan therapy and cannot be saved. I am a 61 year old female and I have worked very hard after not having dental when growing up to keep my natural teeth. The last tooth has a large filling and the tooth on the other side is crowned. I am disabled with limited funds. What is the best solution for the soon to be missing tooth and should I look for a surgeon to remove this tooth? Thank you,
