What is more expensive and dental crown or a vaneer?

Q. What is more expensive and dental crown or a vaneer? In the font part of my mouth in the top teeth there was a tooth that had been broken since I was 8 years old. My dentist was able to fix this tooth and it looks great and I am able to eat much better. I am only wanting to know what this is a crown or a vaneer. I watched the video on the dental crown and the Vaneers. He did not say he just worked for about 2 hours it seemed and now I am able to use the tooth.

A. I guess the dentist has made a type of veneer, if it seems ok I would leave it as it is for now.

Okay I meant to say. What is more expensive a dental crown or a vaneer? The reason I ask this is this. Back in January of this year I went to my dentist’s office and he sat for about 2 hours fixing my left front tooth. On top. I mean it was the two very front teeth but it was the left one in the upper teeth. Well if I run my tongue over my teeth I can feel a really sharp piece as if it were a small clip next to the gumline. He did use quite a bit of hardware doing the job. it is nice and it fit great and I was sore for a long time. Just above the tooth I can feel a little thing in my gums like a tiny squew. Only you can’t see it. Thanks and I really wish I could show a before and after photo. You would see just how good it looks.
