What can we do to help preserve the bone volume for our 15 year old daughter?

Q. Thank you for your previous reply to my 15 year old daughter who has started the process of an implant. You said you would normally wait until 18 years of age and give thought to preserving the bone volume. My question is how can we/what can be done to preserve the bone volume?,
A. 1. Method of extraction to minimise further trauma to the bone. 2. A particle bone graft at the time of the extraction which acts as a scaffold for new bone but takes time to fully convert to bone. There is a an issue to discuss with the surgeon as many of these are animal derived products and the fully synthetic wont last long enough. 3. design of the false tooth above. Rob
