What can be done to correct white marks after whitening treatment?
Q.
Hi. Yesterday I had my teeth whitened with the zoom system. There is a difference in the colour, but it’s not terribly noticeable, and I would like them to be a bit whiter. However, I have a white mark on each of my front teeth which have been there ever since they came through. I also had subtle marks on my teeth from orthodontic treatment as a youngster, and these marks show where the brackets were. Unfortunately these marks are now more visible after whitening. Is there a whitening system that will improve the colour of my teeth, without making these marks worse still? Thank you.

I would suggets that you have a ‘deep bleaching’ system rather than using a power whitening like Zoom. It tends to get more penetration of the whitening agent and also produce a better result. When you have white patched on the teeth , then by deep bleaching over a much longer period of time (sometimes up to 6 months), then the difference between the white patch and the normal tooth is less noticeable

One example of a deep bleaching system in Enlighten
There is no way to make them look exactly the same , especially close-up, but dental bonding techniques or maybe even some microabrasion might help to reduce or remove these areas
Have a consultation and examination with a good cosmetic dentist who can show you examples of how these techinques can work
In extreme situations porcelain or composite veneers may be required to get a more ‘perfect’ result
Hope that helps

could you give me an idea of the costs involved with the Enlighten Deep Bleaching system? My teeth are stained from tetracycline from taking anti-biotics when i was a child. I’ve previously tried Zoom but noticed little (if any) difference in the colour of my teeth. Kind regards
I would like to know more about teeth whitening. I have tetracycline banding accross the top of my teeth, so i am not sure it would be possible???
I would like to find out more information about Enlighten teeth whitening, how much does consultation and procedure cost?
