What can be done about bit of yellow tooth that fell off?
Q. hiya im sam im 22 male and i am basically writing to ask for proffesional advise i recently just quit smoking about 7 months ago and my bottom teeth 2 of them are yellow behind them! and 2 weeks ago wen i was eating an apple a little bit of it cam of and left a little hole where the yellow was, whats the best thing to do i would be great if you could write back and imform me thanks,
A. Hi Thanks for your questions and congratulations on giving up smoking. I would always recommend that you attend your dental professional to assess the damage when a fracture occurs. I would suspect that you may just need a filling in the tooth. I would also recommend that you visit the hygienist on a regular basis, to maintain your oral health. They may also be able to offer a stain removal service such as prophyflex which can remove residual staining left by smoking, and staining foods and drinks. If you still want your teeth lighten after this, you may wish to consider teeth whitening. The prices for this wil vary between systems and practices, but we currently have Zoom on offer at £250.
