What are the alternatives for a one tooth denture?
Q. I have just had my front tooth removed and a partial denture put in but am finding it extremely difficult to adjust to the denture and is causing me to gag and i’m finding to difficult to eat. Do i have any other alternative than the one tooth denture as is embarrassing in my social life as well and what would be the cost of any alternative as i,m on benefits. Would very much appreciate your opinion Thank you,
A. Hello, Yes there are alternatives however dome of them may not be available on the nhs. For instance the best solution is often a single tooth implant. You can expect to pay around £2000 for this treatment. You could also ask your dentist if he can provide bridgework on the nhs as this could be an option as well
