what are my options for my midline shift on my top teeth

Q. Hi, I have a midline shift which is very obvious on my top teeth. I had my lateral incisor (I think) on the right hand side taken out under general when I was 11 as it was growing wrong. I think this in when the midline shift became more obvious. I was bullied for it alot at school and since became very paranoid about it. I don’t know why it was never corrected as a child. As an adult (27), I have become progressivly more and more aware about it, particulary over the past few years. Rationally, I am certain it can’t have got any worse, but I do feel more aware of it and as a result, hate having photographs taken and am very paraoid about my smile. I just wondered if you could let me know what you think my options are? Thanks…

A. This treatment is always very complex and can involve either complex orthodontics or multiple veneer preparations.
I would try to find a cosmetic dentist close to you that can help you with you problem and give you a few options in detail.
