Uneven front teeth needs to be reshaped

Q. I recently went to the dentist and she shaved down one of my teeth so now one of my 2 front teeth is smaller than the other. It isn’t noticeable unless I point it out , but my teeth look different and it is very upsetting. I have a gap between my 2 front teeth I want to have fixed , so my question is, if I get braces or Invisalign to close the gap, can it bring down the slighter shorter tooth so my teeth look the same length again? I would like to avoid having the tooth that was not touched shorterend to repair my dentists mistakes and I am going to start consulting with other dentists/orthodontists for advice. Help. Thank you in advance

A. You should be able to have braces to fix this but it depends on how much tooth was removed, you may even need to have filling at the end of treatment to re shape the missing part.
