two front teeth are dark and discoloured

Q. My Daughteris three years of age and has recently had a fall landing on her front.I have now noticed that her two front teeth are dark and discoloured. Could this be connected to the fall or could it be something else? I am worried that her teeth will not return to the orginal colour

A. Hi  This is probably connected to the fall. The teeth discolour if they die after a heavy knock, unfortunatley there isn’t anything you can do about this. The teeth may turn lighter later on, or stay the same until they fall out; aged 6-7 years
