The acrylic plate of my denture is making me gag
Q. I recently had UR 7 removed as it became very mobile this was a rest retainer for a bridge that has had to be cut off from the retainer leaving me with effectively a crown at UR4. I have had a partial denture made to replace UR5-7 But the acrylic plate is a full plate that is making me gag. can i get one made privately that is smaller

this may be possible but it depends on the solidity of the adjacent teeth, it is also worth considering only going to the six and leaving the seven off the denture, which is quite common now.
