Do you think I am destined for creamy teeth and I should stop whitening? any advice

I have been whitening my teeth for 1/2 hour each day for 10 days and they don’t look that much whiter than before.I have also noticed that they look grey in the mornings and whiter later on during the day!! I am lucky my teeth are in brilliant condition I have no fillings and I’m 46 years old!Do you think I am destined for creamy teeth and I should stop whitening? I would be grateful for any advice you could give me.Thankyou

I am looking for the safest best whitening system for my teeth. I have tried the do it yourself system at home but it is very uncomfortable to sleep with a gum sheald in your mouth so I would rather have something like the laser treatment and would appreciate your expert advice. Many thanks

I have tetracycline stained teeth is there a more effective treatment than zoom?

Dear Dr. Solanki, I have been told I have tetracycline stained teeth due to acne treatment. I had Zoom whitening treatment almost 2 years ago which did lighten them somewhat but the effect did not last. I have trays to use at home ‘nitewhite’16% (now out of date). How often should I have used the home treatment (I sleep badly so prefer not to use them at night), I did not want to use them often as I worry that I will harm my teeth/gums. Does whitening actually work on tetracycline staining and if so how often is it safe to have the treatment? Alternatively is there a more effective treatment than Zoom. I don’t want to go down the Laminate route due to expense and damage to teeth. I will be most grateful if you would advise me. Kind regards

Teeth have become patchy after zoom whitening

Hi.. I always had a nice white perfect set of teeth, but when I noticed recently that few teeth became discoloured then I decided to go for zoom whitening technique. The result was disappointing and upsetting, my teeth became patchy and the spread of the white color was uneven. Can you please advise me on how to rectify this problem and regain my smile back. My only worry is that I am 28 and believe whitening only lasts a few years. Will my teeth look worse when whitening wears off or will they just go back to how they originally were prior to whitening.

Zoom whitening and Second opinion on prescribed drugs

I have been discussing having Zoom whitening with my dentist. I have a tooth needs crowning and several fillings to be redone after the whitening process. My teeth are very sensitive particularly a front tooth – the one to be capped. It snapped off and was ‘glued’ back temporarily. I apply sensodyne regularly. I have been recommended to take the full dose of Nurofen for the 7 days prior to the treatment. However on a daily basis I am taking Ramipril, Lipitor and Aspirin. I have read the leaflet in the Nurofen packet and it is my opinion that I shouldn’t take them with my medication. Not wanting to bother my doctor, I;m sure it would quite irritate him actually, I wonder if you could advise please. Thankyou in anticipation.
