do you find the teeth whitening gels to be accurate in getting the shades

Hi, im about to pay £250 to have my teeth professionally whitened with a local business in belfast. they say i can expect between 5 to 14 shades lighter using a specially formulated whitening gel and the Beyond Whitening accelerator.the whole process takes approx 1hr. do you find such companies to be accurate and worth the value or would you recommend something else. My background is non smoker non wines, but partial to the odd cup of tea or two !! many thanks for any help and advice too.

Hi Rob, My front tooth is a dead tooth i had it treated 23 yrs ago. I had noticed the colour changing darker and now its visible as its one of my front tooths. Can i do to a dentist and get it fixed. My wedding is in two months times the tooth looks awful. Can i get my teeth whitened, will it work?

iam unhappy with the colour iam thinking about cosmetic dentestry

Hi, well what it is i recently had my braces removed at the age of 23 and have noticed great results with that but now iam unhappy with the colour iam thinking about cosmetic dentestry as my self confidence has been knocked alot i sometimes cry about it and when i was having my treatment for my braces the dentist asked my mom. If my teeth have always been that colour since they have through and she replied yes. i was wondering if i could just ask if there is a payment scheme for people who arent in work but that can have treatment.

Hi there, Im 18 years old and lack self confidence due to the effects on my teeth from poor diet and lack of oral hygeine in the past. My teeth have now become an off white colour and have like whiter stains near the tops. i also have a few decaying spots on the top of two of my teeth towards the front. I am so embarrassed about them, i dont like to smile, i have even found myself mumbling when i am talking so that i am not revealing the full extent of my teeth. This is beggining to depress me now especially due to my age, I dont like socialising as much with my friends do due to the embarrasment, this also puts me off visiting a dentist! I am worried of what he/she may think of me. What treatment do you think is required and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I’m 21 years old and when i was 16 i develop a eating disorder which i have now sorted out but it has really ruined my teeth they are yellow (some areas are worse then others), two of my back teeth are badly broken and i have a gap between my two front teeth. i would like to get them looking nice again what treatment could i have??

Hi.. i have internal stains in my teeth and my doctor had removed the top surface of teeth in order to remove stains but they r still appearing and becoming yellow in colour and for one of my front tooth is placed with crown and these things together are looking odd.. so please tel me wat would be the best opinion for me to remove internal stains so that i have perfect match with my crown… i want to know whether laser treatment would help and is it safe bec my top surface of my teeth r removed…please suggest me the best opition..please…….

Hi My teeth have been bleached and are whiter than B1 – they match the first new ‘bleached shade’. I have two teeth that have been cosmetically bonded with B1 resin but these now look ‘yellow’ compared to the others.My dentist says he cannot find a supplier of the composite resin to match the bleached shades. I know cosmetic dentists can obtain bleached shade resin – can you tell me where my dentist can obtain this from. Many thanks
