Hi there I have 2 veneers at the top front. and the either side of that I have 2 crowns which are all awful! None of them match the colours range from off white to beighe! They are very old now and the Veneers keep falling off randomley and I have to stick them back with …waitfor it.. Super glue. I cannot afford the dentist as I dread to think what I need done and how much it will cost (not too sure if I can pay it back monthly?)!? Many thanks and Look forward to a reply

Hi since i was quite young my front upper tooth has been wonky, i had fallen over and this is the way it had grown back in,is there any way i could get this straightened without braces? having it removed and a false one put in place and is there a big difference in colour between real teeth and false?

I woud like to know how much discomfort to expect after veneers are fitted. I had 6 veneers fitted three weeks ago and have had to take strong painkillers night and day ever since. This is not sensitivity but a throbbing pain which barely leaves me for any length of time. I stay almost 70 miles away from my dentist but saw him today. He says this is normal and usually takes anything from 2 to 8 weeks for everything to settle down. Is this truly the case? If I had known this was going to happen I would never have had it done. Please reply. Thank you for your time.

smashing one of my front teeth

I had an accident about 6 years ago which resulted in me smashing one of my front teeth. After some root work i had a crown fitted but it was a really bad fit and very noticable. I had to wait until a few weeks ago to get it redone as i could not afford it. I have now got my temporay crown in and goingback next week to get the new porcelin crown fixed. As i also have a gap i am getting a porcelin veneer in my other front tooth to close the gap. It is costing me over £2000. My issue is that the main reason i wanted to get it sorted is the black line on the top of my tooth. My dentist originally told me that with the porcelin crown and a white post this would be illiminated but when i went in to get my old crown removed and the temporay fitted he said that my old tooth is very black and so i can not get rid of the black line. This is very gutting for me as i still feel it looks really bad. I feel really annoyed that i am paying all this money but am still going to come away with the unsightly black gum! Is there anything that i can do? Shoudl i contact my dentist to discuss before my finla appointment?

Dear Doctor, I would like to ask the next, I am 22, sportsman, my teeth are generally strong and healthy, the problem is that they are small and sparse and with offended enough bite with a result the front teeth a bit tilted. Several years ago I had two veneers fitted to my front teeth to help give them a straighter look (they sloped backwards) and an upper crown and it much improved the look. However they have fallen off so many times over the years and I dont eat anything that I have to bite down on. My dentist is NHS and says she will fit crowns for me but after the veneer experience I am not sure what to do. Can you advise me. Also the gum line over the crown is now showing the metal post and I would like to avoid that.
