I would like to have my crowded and twisted teeth to be straightened but don’t want any teeth extraction. Possible?

Q.

Hi,
I am almost 35 years of age and have two front teeth crowded and twisted, also bottom jaw-4 teeth crowded and twisted. I would love to have a perfect smile, but not sure I can afford it, and how long would that take? I believe tooth extraction in my case will be necessary, and that really scares me. Also, I am an adult ,working in customer service, I cant imagine myself with mouth full of metal. Not sure where to go for a consultation,I live in Kent(BR3),
Thanks for reading,

I have a twisted front tooth, would a brace correct it?

Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010
Q.

Hi, my left tooth ( next to my front left tooth) is turned a full 180 degrees. My dentist says its a big job to re correct, saying he would’nt be able to crown it, therefore having to take the nerve out and going from there. I spoke to an orthodonist about it, and he said a brace would’nt improve it because of how much its turned. What would you suggest?

Thankyou.

I’m worried it will carry on twisting and i will end up with it protruding, what should I do?

Q.
Hey, I used to have upper and lower fixed braces when I was about 12 up until I was 19. The upper set was (apparently) pulling my jaw back inline as i had a slight over bite (u could just fit a finger tip in). I had the top set removed when i was 17 and the bottom removed at 19. My question is that I have noticed that within the last 3 or 4 months my top front left hand ( my left) tooth is starting to twist. The only way I can describe it is that it is like my teeth are moving forward and the right hand tooth is almost forcing itself underneith it. I wouldnt say that it causes me discomfort but I can feel the pressure of it twisting like I felt when I had braces. Do you have any ideas what may be causing this? My own dentist says that this sometimes just happens over time as we age however Im only coming up for 22!! Im worried it will carry on twisting and i will end up with it protruding, I didnt go through 7 years of pain for twisted teeth!,

Can I have my twisted teeth fixed with dental veneers?

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010
Q.
Hi, my two upper canine teeth are twisted, not severely but enough to annoy me. I first noticed in when I was about 14, I am now 20 and they have seemed to get more twisted over time. I was wondering if this could be fixed with veneers? Thanks,

Hello, I have an inward twisting tooth (upper right lateral incisor) and recently it has started to randomly bleed and cause discomfort. I was wondering if the NHS would replace this tooth with a gold crown?,

Is there another option other than braces, to fix my twisted tooth?

Q.
Hi, I had a tooth taken out years ago and the new one growing through grew at an angle so it is kind of twisted. I don’t want to get braces, is there another solution to align them?,

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010
Q.
Hello. One of my two front teeth is severely crooked. It came out twisted just about 180 degrees turned. How can this be fixed? I’ve gone for an orthodontics consulation but was told that braces may not be able to completely straighten it, what options are there? Thanks,
