Hi, I’m 17 and very self conscious about how un-white my teeth are. I don’t smoke, drink tea or coffee- they just grew out like that, and I don’t know but maybe it’s due to calcium deficiency. One of them grew out with a dent and the rest, although now straightened by braces, are still discoloured, I want to get lumineers, but it doesn’t say anywhere I have found how much they would cost in the UK. Could you advise me? Thank you so much!,

Hi, My teeth need whitened, all are slighly discoloured however when I was younger I cracked the front left tooth and required a veneer, this tooth is beginning to darken dramaically and I think it will turn black soon. Why have the bottom of my teeth turned grey after teeth whitening treatment?

I had zoom 2 whitening done on my teeth 2 days ago but have now found that my two upper front teeth have gone white at the top and a greyish yellow at the bottom. I was told this would go but im very worried as my teeth look worse than they did before the treatment. What has caused this and will it go to white or are my teeth ruined. I had the in chair system done as i thought that would be the best. Im really upset as i had them done for my holiday next week and now im ashamed of my teeth. Please help,

Dear Mr. Moore Im from netherlands and im 18 years old and i have problem with my teeths wich realy would like to solve. When i whas young i whas given antibiotics wich probably effected my glaze, so my teeth slowly changed in color , i had a brace aswell for like a year and a half but when they were removed my teeth just started move again. Hi. I snapped my front tooth in my teens so had to have another built on (with a screw, if that sounds right?! sorry it was a few years ago) and it is hideous as it’s sometime grey in colour and was fitted a bit wonky. It doesn’t help I have a massive overbite and ‘fangs’ that have turned around 90 degrees. Basically, I have awful teeth! How likely is it that I could have anything fixed, within a reasonable amount of time, with this horrible fake tooth? or even teeth whitening as a short term confidence booster?,

Braces left my teeth with uneven marks. I have looked into Veneers but I have also been recommended whitening products. Any advice?

Hi Dr Kailesh After wearing braces as a teenager on top and bottom, I have been left with badly marked teeth giving them a very uneven look. There are white marks on each tooth making the rest of the tooth look discoloured. I spoke to my Dentist about options and she tried to discourage me from Veneers (I left thinking that the process was to drill the teeth down to a peg then fit over a whole crown!) She has suggested to try Whitening but am I correct in thinking that if the whole tooth is whitened then the white patches will also whiten? I am not looking for a dazzling white smile, I simply want my teeth to look even again. Please can you let me know what you would advise. I would also like to know what I should expect to pay for Veneers or if they are available on the NHS. Thanks ever so much in advance for any advice you can offer.,
