My front teeth is discoloured how can i remove the stains?

Hi, 2 years ago i got a thin surface put on my front teeth and slightly lengthend as they were very rough and serated at the bottom. The coating has now gone discoloured compared with my own teeth – will any whitening product remove the stains? i get married next month and would really like me front two teeth to be the same colour as my others thanks

Since i had my mould prep i have got a severe aching from the tooth it is so sensitive is it normal

I am having a 2 unit bridge fitted in 12 days time i had my first visit for the tooth prep and mould but since i have had severe aching from the tooth it is so sensitive to hot/cold i cant bear it i am using clove oil every hour to help relieve the pain i dont want to be a nuisance to go back to the dentist until my appointment … please help is this normal to have this constant pain ???

Hello.my problem is that a fewdays ago i noticed a small brown spot on my jaw inside my mouth abot the size of a pea and feels abit rough when i pass my tongue over it but if i touch it with my finger it feels normal..can u say what it might possibly be and what i can do to get raid of it?..thank you..

Ive been bulimic on and off and ive have lost enamel on my teeth is this caused by vomiting?

Hi I have been bulimic on and off for a few years now. I have a huge fear of dentists but went last week. I was worried the dentist would be able to tell that I’m bulimic but he didn’t say anything, so does that mean he probably couldn’t tell? Also, I don’t think I have lost enamel on my teeth but my top, front teeth appear ‘see through’ at the bottom and have really bad brown stains on the back of them. Is this caused by vomiting or is it just inproper dental hygiene? I wanted nto ask my dentist if I was doing any damage (as I also need several fillings and a root canal) but I was too embarrassed. Is there a technique that can be used to avoid tooth darkening after a root canal treatment

Hi Dr Patel, I am hoping you may be able to give me some advice; I have recieved conflicting info so far and I’m unsure! Basically I have veneers to my upper teeth and unfortunately one of them now needs a root canal on it as it was damaged during the prep for the veneers and is very painful. My dentist says the rct can be done from the back of the tooth and not affect the veneer. However another dentist has told me that the tooth will likely go dark and show through the veneer, spoiling the look from the front. I am really worried about this. Is there a technique that can be used to avoid the tooth darkening after a root canal? And are you aware of similar cases where the veneers appearance has not been affected after the rct? Hi, I have had crowns, (albeit only temps when i was little) since i was 10 due to an accident were i broke my teeth. I had proper crowns fitted when i was 18 and had them in for 10 years, they fitted nice good colour etc but unfortunatly i snapped one…. so i decided to have them replaced 3 years ago and have them done private (more expensive porceline crowns) Well within a year into having them on,they had moved position and they have gone yellow? they discolour more so i have noticed when i go on the sunbed? My dentist said he has no idea why they have done this and says they shoukdnt, but was unwilling to replace them for free or even at a discount! Its now a further 2 years on and they are terrible and i really need them replacing and all my teeth whitening, but i have lost faith in whom to trust to were go to get them replaced? as i dont have the kind of money to keep paying out for them if this is to happen every few years? Porcelain veneers discoloured due to smoking

I had veneers put on my teeth about two years ago. However,they have now discoloured, probably because I have been smoking (not a lot, about 25 a week). Please can you tell me if it is possible to bring them back to their former whiteness? Thank you.
